Subject: [Info-ingres] Key Mapping
I am trying configure the key mapping under Linux (Redhat 7.7) to mirror the current key mapping setup under Solaris. Under Solaris users connect via xterm whereas I am trying to configure Putty.
I got the following error:
PF key `31' does not exist for your terminal description.
Error occurred in line '41'
Line was " frskey10 = pf31 (Sh-HOME)"
According to the Ingres manuals, kU = function key 31 (pf31). Also, according to the mapping file pf31 = shift-home. I added the following to my termcap file:
:kU=\E[1~:\
However, it had no effect. Using accessdb to determine if mapping is working.
Any ideas?
