[Info-ingres] Can we have a grant update excluding (columnlist)?

I haven't managed to track down the culprit yet.
London to a brick they cut and pasted a help table command.
Although a part of me is now wondering if they did do an update excluding() and this is the way it was stored in the catalogs.
I'd better check that out before I go in there breathing fire.

What they didn't write a script to create the 'grant update' from the iicolumns view?
That's a training issue that is...

Hi All,
We have a table with 785 columns. Some clown has just written an update grant which was specific to all but 11 columns of that table.
Yes they really wrote down...
grant update (dfinished, pagemodify, viewing_page, ....over 700 names later , yesterday_ill_any, typical_ny, portion_size) to ...
I'm now going to find out why it was so vital not to grant update on those remaining 11 columns.
That should be a fun conversation.
