[Info-ingres] Can we have a grant update excluding (columnlist)?

What they didn't write a script to create the 'grant update' from the
iicolumns view?

 

That's a training issue that is.

Hi All,

 

We have a table with 785 columns. Some clown has just written an update
grant which was specific to all but 11 columns of that table.

 

Yes they really wrote down.

grant update (dfinished, pagemodify, viewing_page, ..over 700 names later ,
yesterday_ill_any, typical_ny, portion_size) to .

 

I'm now going to find out why it was so vital not to grant update on those
remaining 11 columns.

 

That should be a fun conversation.
