[Info-ingres] rollforwarddb error

Hi Paul,

This looks like it was fixed in the response to Bug 129237.

I've found it on:
    II 10.2.0 (a64.lnx/100) p15151.
    II 10.2.0 (a64.lnx/100) p15162.

It's OK from 10.2.0 (a64.lnx/100) p15254.

I've added this to my suite of patch acceptance tests.

Now I just have to think of upgrading the 34 installations that are running those two patches.

I avoid ALTER TABLE ADD COLUMN for production systems.

Best practise.
Checkpoint before and after schema changes.
Schema changes only during quiet periods.

I'm thanking my lucky stars I came across this one in a routine trial recovery...

And even more thankful its very patch specific: II 10.2.0 (a64.lnx/100) +p15162.

Take a journaled table and use 'alter table add column' twice. It must be at least twice.
Then do a recovery...
