Best practise.

Checkpoint before and after schema changes.

Schema changes only during quiet periods.

Hi All.

 

I'm thanking my lucky stars I came across this one in a routine trial
recovery.

 

And even more thankful its very patch specific: II 10.2.0 (a64.lnx/100)
+p15162.

 

Take a journaled table and use 'alter table add column' twice. It must be at
least twice.

Then do a recovery.
