[Info-ingres] Very slow help table response

Hi All,

Ingres Vector. VW 5.0.0 (a64.lnx/402) + p40205

We have a database in which a help table takes some 23 seconds to respond...which is a little embarrassing for an otherwise lickety-split slicker than snot type installation.

I've used II_EMBED_SET printqry to find where its slow and have found (FWIW):
Query text:
  execute query (qrtabhlp5) 'val_real' 'ace'
Query Send Time:       27-Jul-2017 09:43:46.39
Query Response Time:   27-Jul-2017 09:44:07.68
Response CPU Time:     93
Qry End CPU Time:      93

I've run a sysmod over the database and the slow response persists.

Anyone got any ideas?
