[Info-ingres] Problems with PuTTY and prompt

I'm talking to support and will get into detail with them today.  We are
using an old version of telnet, not via PuTTY.

Actually this problem first surfaced when we migrated to Ingres 10 2
years ago in one spot - while using a prompt command for a phone number.
I coded a work-around then and called a frame instead, this time I'm
more leery because I don't know where else it may occur in the app -
right now we have a limited group using PuTTY while we transition to it
from telnet due to security concerns.
