[Info-ingres] Invalid Checkpoints

Looks like tar is being too clever.  

The Ingres checkpoint logic expects and tolerates changes to the file
during tar.  You need to find out what flags your version of tar takes
to make it ignore changes.  

It is possible that you had made the necessary tweaks the cktmpl.def
file in your old release of Ingres and the tweaks got over-written
during the upgrade to 9.2.4.  I would use a variant file name and set
II_CKTMPL_FILE to point to it so that future upgrades won't trash my
tweaks.
