<p class="MsoNormal">I don’t want to give apache permission to access the server_sessions table in imadb. Furthermore, I suspect that having an ingres process regularly refresh a table with a count would simply impose a major bottleneck in the system.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I suspect the server keeps some internal counter of its connected sessions, would it be possible to expose that information in dbmsinfo()? That way I can install a soft connection limit and thus restrict to priority processes when the server
