laptop with the community edition of ingres installed on it. though the
database is on a 10.2 Linux server. <br>

I have a multiline field in OpenROAD which maintains a table with attributes
which are varchar (250) not null with default</font><font size=3> </font><font size=2 face="Arial"><br>
looking at the table via isql - you can see \n where the form feeds are.</font><font size=3>

I am running a report writer (.rw) which gives a text file (actually a
python script) the"\n"s are somehow truncating the field everything
after \n is lost for that field. <br>

Prior to introducing the form feeds the other parts of the attribute
were displayed in the output file <br>
