<p class="MsoPlainText">The iidatabase catalog allows 32 characters and specifying a name longer than 24 is ok as long as its unique in the first 24 characters.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">Other than a STAR coordinator database name default being ‘ii’ plus the local database name I can’t think of a good reason for any restriction unless the ‘/server_class’ is getting involved for some reason.
