Hi Rich,

In short, yes.

In long, they have an application which isn't terminating a connection properly, or they are just turning off their computer without allowing a proper disconnect.

If they are junking up your errlog than it may be worthwhile having a chat to the application developers. Otherwise the messages  can be ignored.

I've been getting numerous errors in the error.log.
Is this due to a client abnormally terminating?
