Hi Paul,

I created the function in iidbdb. And you can't enable x100 on iidbdb.

Also what on earth has x100 to do with create function anyway?

Marty

try

alterdb -enable_x100 martydb

If the database was created with -no_x100 then the drop statement fails.

Hi All,

In 11.2 we can now do CREATE FUNCTION!

So as an unprivileged user I created a function in iidbdb, it worked, and then I tried to drop it...

drop function helloworld\g
Executing . . .

E_US253F X100 statements are disabled for this database or session.

So I logged in as ingres, connected to iidbdb and did:
drop function "martinb".helloworld\g
Executing . . .

Error message corresponding to 328736 (50420) not found in
    INGRES error file

Any ideas on how to drop this bloody thing?
