(Remember the crawfish we spotted on the sidewalk one morning at 5am. I walked alongside it screaming "You're FREE! Go! Go! Go!"  I think it frightened you.)

That was 19--count 'em!--19 years ago. That is a little less than half
my career ago.

I recall the presentation I did but I have no memory of the event. I
can hypnotize myself into thinking I might remember the venue but
(improbably, considering the amount of booze involved) all the New
Orleans venues are vivid like yesterday.

Of course my mother says the same of her youth...
