This is re Ingres SPARC SOLARIS Version II 11.0.0 (su9.us5/100).
I have a database with over 1,600 tables scattered over a dozen or
more locations. I need to create a couple of test databases containing
only about 20 of those tables. The required tables take up about 17Gb.
I started with a clone of the full database and ran a script to drop all
but the tables I require for testing. (That script ran into some issues
of its own but eventually it dropped them, leaving me with just the
ones I wanted.)
When I run
relocatedb coredb -new_database=p2o
it goes for about 15 minutes and I can see the data files being created
in the p2o directories. But once it looks like it has finished (based on
the space used), I get

hile processing the DATABASE relocation request.
It then destroys the database it just created.
Have I done something foolish to cause this? (I can't think what is even
in my hands to get right or wrong here.)
