[Info-ingres] When is upper a downer? When its not a micro lower.

Hi All,
On both ingres10.2 and 11.0…
We have some text fields in which the Mu symbol ‘b5’ has crept in to symbolise a micro quantity. Eg (‘5-100µl’)
So what happens when you:
select upper(x'b5')\g
E_AD5015 0000B5FE, is not a valid byte sequence for server codepage.
select lower(x'b5')\g
