Hi Daniel

Did the error log give you a full stack? If not are you able to see that under the debugger?
Is the exception during startup or when you are running a query?
If it was working before and the only thing you did was add memory I see no reason why Ingres would start hitting exceptions.
Did something else change? You data set? Your queries?

I have a problem in a process...  (could see the file segmentation_violation.jpg)...

My server change de memory

Old memory was a 512 Mbytes...

And now the server have a 2GBytes...

How change configuracion in the ABF utility?...



In the SO Linux Red Hat release 9 (Shrike); Kernel 2.4.20-9smp on an i686.

The configure parameter for /etc/sysctl.conf is:
#Configuracion kernel para 1GBytes
# shmall x 512 x 4096 (por tamanho de pagina= shmmni=4096)
# shmmax x 512 x 1024 ( por bytes )
kernel.shmall = 4194304
kernel.shmmax = 1073741824

Could some body  help me?
