At the Actian Hybrid Data conference in London on November 9th, Doug
Inkster was announced to be this year's winner of the Ingres Users
Association community award.

Doug was nominated for the award by almost everyone who put a name
forward this year.

It is richly deserved. It almost certainly should have come sooner too.
