[Info-ingres] UK IUA Community Award 2017: Call for Nominees

The UK IUA Community Award is presented annually in recognition of a
person who has made noteworthy contributions to the Ingres community
—i.e. users of Ingres (X), OpenROAD, Vector and associated technologies.

The recipient is nominated by users like yourself, and selected by 
a jury of IUA committee members based on your reason for recommending
your nominee.

Previous winners of the community award have been:

2013 Bodo Bergmann
2014 Marty Bowes
2015 John Smedley
2016 Paul Mason

If you would like to submit a nomination for the 2017 award, please 
send it, along with a brief exaplanation why you're recommending that
person, to:

Traditionally the award is presented by the previous winner at the 
annual user event. This year the event will be held on November 9th, in
London. Further details TBA.

The closing date for nominations is September 1st, 2017.
