[Info-ingres] Can I use IMA to remove DAS Server sessions?

Hi Everyone,
We have a korn shell script that restarts Ingres in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The script removes sessions from the _DAS_ Server by getting the Das's socket id from iinamu,
then getting session ids, then firing "remove session <xxxxx>" into iimonitor.

Now this bit of the script is broken, but should I be using the iinamu/iimonitor method in 2016 ?
Can I simplfy the code by using IMA to remove sessions from the DAS Server?
If so how?
Is using IMA in this way, a robust & reliable (longterm) method of removing DAS Sessions?

It is Ingres 10.1 on AIX
