[Info-ingres] Anyone using Ingres with an IBM DS8000 SAN?

Anyone using Ingres with an IBM DS8000 SAN? 

Does it work as wonderfully as the brochure promises? Is there anything
special the SAN admin needs to be told?

Privately I don't think these things work as well as they should. I
am not soothed by assurances that it will just "notice" when it needs to
promote my hot files from Tier 1 RAID 5 to Tier 0. Nor that it will do
it so quickly and seamlessly that Ingres will skip and jump and frolic.
