[Info-ingres] CKPDB with LVM snapshots

Hi,

We've been backing up our Ingres databases with SAN level 'snapclones' for the last 10-12 years.
This worked fine but we are changing our storage technology and this will no longer be a viable option.

I plan to implement file system snapshots using LVM. Has anyone tried this yet ?
Just wondering if there are any 'gotchas' before I get started.
