[Info-ingres] Problems with PuTTY and prompt

Bizarre. I assume you mean it's the ABF application that has the memory
fault (not PuTTY)?

What protocol are you using with PuTTY? What happens if you use telnet
protocol with PuTTY?

Is TERM_INGRES the same in both cases? What is it?
