[Info-ingres] 2015 UK IUA Community Award: Call for nominees

[Ingres Forums]

The UK IUA community award is presented annually in recognition of a  
person who has made noteworthy contributions to the Ingres commuity - ie
users of Ingres, OpenROAD, Vector and associated technologies.

The recipient is nominated by others within the same community, and it's
now time to collect nominations for this year's award.

Previous winners of the community award were:

2009 Rick van der Lans
2010 Karl Schendel
2011 Kim Ginnerup
2012 Tomasz Konojacki
2013 Bodo Bergmann
2014 Marty Bowes

If you would like to submit a nomination for the 2015 award, please send
it, along with a reason why you're recommending that person, to:
award2015 at uk-iua.org.uk

Traditionally the award has been presented by the previous winner at a  
conference / technical user event. We hear an event is currently in the 
planning stages thanks to the good folks at Actian, most likely during 
October - watch this space for details.

Bodo's entertaining award presentation last year set the bar high. (No
pressure, Marty).

The closing date for nominations is : 1st August 2015.
