I think Alex was referring to the potential for fixing a bug, if the
problem is in fact a bug.  A bug in the open source release can be fixed
by anyone since it's open source.  A bug in any other release would have
to be fixed by Actian under whatever terms they are pleased to impose.

Support, as in hand-holding, suggestions, consulting, etc etc is a
different matter entirely.  There are people and organizations who
provide Ingres consulting services of various kinds.  If any such are
reading and are interested, I'll let them speak for themselves.
