Hi Dennis,
I seem to recall we had a similar problem some time ago. Actian gave us a C program to spot the bad data. We can't lay our hands on it at the moment so you may be well advised to contact your Actian reps and see if they can supply the code.

Subject: [Info-ingres] Corrupted timestamp values
Hi,
Copying (copydb -c) data from a 9.2 installation to a 10.2 installation tables that have a timestamp column are failing some rows with corrupted timestamp values.
The time part of the timestamp have one or more negative values in them.
I.e YYYY-MM-DD -5:-1:-3.000000.
Is there a query that can be run to find these?
Dennis
