Hello David
Upgrading an existing installation to Ingres 10S on VMS isn't an option, you
need to perform a fresh installation and manual database transfer. With a
bit of luck, you'll be able to see the documentation for this here:
http://docs.actian.com/?aspectfilter=Version_Ingres|Ingres%2010S#b26320t7729
5n/s-1/s6767/s6791/s6791b231026/s6791b231034
If you try to upgrade from Ingres 9.2, you'll find the Ingres 10S installer
detects it and stops you.

Subject: [Info-ingres] Upgrading Ingres 9.2 to 10.2 - are there know
problems ?
Hi
We want to upgrade Ingres , on VMS, from version 9.2 to version 10.2.
Has anyone done that kind of upgrade ?
Are there know problems in the upgrade ?
Are there any 9.2 features that are no longer supported by version 10.2 ?
Thanks
David Greenberg
